About Tara
Tara Stadelman-Cohen, SLPD, B.M., CCC-SLP, is a voice-specialized speech pathologist/singing health specialist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation (MGH Voice Center). Ms. Stadelman-Cohen received a bachelor’s degree in music with a voice and piano emphasis and completed her master’s degree in communicative disorders at the University of Wisconsin. A clinical doctorate of speech-language pathology was received at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2023. She currently performs acoustic and aerodynamic analysis of voice production in addition to laryngeal endoscopy for voice assessment and provides voice therapy with clinical specialization in rehabilitation of the injured professional voice. Ms. Stadelman-Cohen is an instructor at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Communication Science and Disorders, an associate professor of vocal pedagogy at the Boston Conservatory of Music at Berklee, and an instructor of vocal pedagogy at the Boston University School of Music. Co-authored publications have appeared in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Leader; Annals of Otology, Rhinology, and Laryngology; Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research; Journal of Voice; Laryngoscope; and Oxford Handbook of Singing. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).

About Carol
Carol Krusemark M.A, CCC-SLP, is a voice-specialized speech/language pathologist at MGH Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation, Term Lecturer with the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and former faculty at New England Conservatory. Current clinical focuses include rehabilitation of the speaking and singing voice, trauma-informed care and counseling in speech/language pathology practice, and clinical supervision. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and military treatment facilities, with clients across the lifespan. As a vocalist and former voice teacher, she brings her understanding of voice terminology and technique to her work with vocalists, while her speech pathology background informs her understanding of vocal function.

About Jason
Jason Muise, M.S, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at the MGH Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation. He received his B.A. in Communications from Marymount Manhattan College in 2009 and his M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2011. He completed his Clinical Fellowship in SLP at both Borne Manor SNF and the MGH Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation in 2011-2012. He specializes in the behavioral assessment and treatment of voice disordered populations and has extensive experience in helping to manage behavioral vocal functions surrounding muscle tension dysphonia, vocal fold paralysis, paresis, spasmodic dysphonia, vocal tremor, laryngospasm, paradoxical vocal fold motion disorder and chronic cough. He is a clinical supervisor for graduate clinicians and is a co-coordinator for the voice concentration at the MGH IHP.
