For the first time, Massachusetts General Hospital has been named as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery in 2025 by Healthgrades. Healthgrades, a healthcare ranking and review website, evaluated patient mortality and complication rates at more than 4,500 hospitals and ranked them across 16 specialties, including spine surgery.
An elite doctor for elite athletes: Meet the Revolution's chief medical officer
Miho Tanaka, MD, PhD, chief medical officer for the New England Revolution, is one of only two women in Major League Soccer to hold the title, and the Revolution’s first female medical director. She started working with the team five years ago, bringing valuable experience as an orthopedic surgeon, team doctor, professor and sports medicine researcher.
Dr. Mark Price, honored physician on Patriots playing field and battlefield, dies at 52
Mark Price, MD, PhD, a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon, died this summer from a rare form of cancer. He is remembered as "a fierce advocate for patients and a fierce advocate for staff."
