Research
My research is on syntactic processing in sentence comprehension, using fMRI, MEG and morphometric analysis of lesions in correlation studies with task performance in neurologically intact individuals and individuals with neurological disease.

A Top Hospital in America
Mass General is recognized as a top hospital on the U.S. News Best Hospitals Honor Roll for 2024-2025.
This was an appointment for my husband to confirm his diagnosis of vascular dementia. Dr. Caplan confirmed the diagnosis, explaining the disease to me and my daughter who was on speaker phone.
I always find Dr. Caplan to be very easy to talk with. He has a great demeanor. I look forward to my yearly visits to discuss any changes that my family or I notice in my mental capacity or ability to live my life unincumbered.
I wish the other providers were as professional and caring as much as Dr Caplan. He is the only provider that reads my history before the appointment.
Excellent visit
Excellent
Dr. Caplan took the time to listen and answer our questions thoroughly.
Outstanding
Dr. Caplan was thorough and efficient and had a great bedside manner.
I think Dr. Caplan is great, but I am never going to his office at Mass General. It's just too crowded, hard to get around. I only want to see him in Wolfham, and I know sometimes that's difficult. Thank you.
Good experience!
