Our Strategic Priorities

Embracing who you are today. Supporting the physician and leader you will be.
Our programs foster collaboration across our hospital, Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School, helping to create an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

Exposing Students to Academic Careers

Expose students underrepresented in medicine (UiM) to academic research and clinical careers, helping them to grow into the medical professionals and scientists of tomorrow.

Engaging Our Trainees

We partner with MGH and Mass General Brigham programs to build a diverse community, empowering trainees to thrive through career development, mentorship, networking, and education.

Promoting Our Faculty

CDI partners with clinical and research departments to promote a diverse and inclusive academic setting and foster growth for faculty through career development, mentorship, networking, and education.

Advancing Inclusion

CDI’s Learning and Education Pathway, aligned with United Against Racism, equips MGH staff with skills to foster respect and inclusion through evidence-based sessions and trauma-informed dialogues.

Diversity focuses on who we are and the unique differences each of us brings, while inclusion aims to create an environment where everyone is respected and valued. Now is the time for medicine to advance a genuine commitment to both.
