Robert C. McKenna has been a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics since 2001. He currently is working with surgeons in the Foot and Ankle Service, providing care in all aspects of foot and ankle disorders and trauma. Prior to joining Mass General, Robert worked in many settings including Academic Medicine, private practice, VA healthcare system, as well as inner city community healthcare.

Robert graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then went on to graduate from Massachusetts College of Health Sciences in Boston with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies in 2001.

In his time out of the office, Robert enjoys an active lifestyle with his family, which includes cycling and surfing. He is involved with community and environmental activism locally and nationally.
