Joe's Story: Dr. DiGiovanni helped get Joe back to the things he loves after complex foot reconstruction.
Joe's Story
Condition: Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease
Interests: fishing, sports cars, investing
I fractured my left foot, and after seeing a few different doctors and being wheelchair-bound, I found Dr. DiGiovanni. He diagnosed me with Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, which is a disease that damages the nerves in your arms and legs. After lengthy discussions together, Dr. DiGiovanni and I decided that complex foot reconstruction on both of my feet was the best option.
To get it done right, you need to go the people who know what they are doing, who know how to treat the disease and know all about the disease.
Dr. DiGiovanni is a tremendous surgeon, and I am so thankful for what he did for me. This has been an amazing journey and without Dr. DiGiovanni I would probably still be in a wheelchair.
