Medical Director (Boston and Waltham)
Mark A. Matza, MD, MBA
Mark A. Matza, MD, MBA is the Medical Director of the Medical Infusion Center and the Clinical Director of Rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Matza received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed internal medicine training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and rheumatology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has clinical interests in giant cell arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, inflammatory arthritis, gout, IgG4-related disease, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and medical infusion therapies. Dr. Matza directs a multidisciplinary approach to medical infusion at Mass General in both Boston and Waltham locations.
