Kateri Egan McGuinness is an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and the Clinical Lead for the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Mass General for Children. She earned her Bachelors of Nursing at Villanova University and worked as a staff nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit before earning a Masters of Nursing at Boston College. Kateri oversees the clinical operations for the Pediatric Cardiology department, manages the cardiac surgical and catheterization program, and is an active provider on both the inpatient consult service and in our preventative health program. In addition to Kateri’s clinical activities, she also develops educational material for nurses and medical trainees on the management of post-operative cardiac patients.
