Anne Pizzano is a child life specialist working on the pediatric inpatient unit (Ellison 18) with patients from eight through twenty-one years old.

There are many reasons why I do what I do – I love being part of something larger making a difference in the lives of children.   MassGeneral Hospital for Children is more than just a hospital for our patients, families and staff; it is home – a place where our feet may leave, but not our hearts.  When I first began my career at MGfC in 2003 there were only four child life specialists.   Currently, we have thirteen child life specialists in various clinical settings.  I am proud of our dedicated team and the continued support of the MGfC community.
