Public Transportation
MBTA
There are two bus routes between Alewife Station and the Bedford VA that stop close to Lurie Center, on the corner of Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road. Route 62 bus stops on the corner of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue. Walk approximately 5 blocks on Hartwell Avenue, then turn right on to Maguire Road to arrive at the Lurie Center. Route 62/76 stops on Hartwell Ave at the Bikeway. They run approximately once per hour with larger gaps in the afternoon.
REV 128 Business Council Van Service
Not affiliated with MBTA. Riders pay full non-member fares, $3 per ride. Route R1 goes between Alewife Station and Hartwell Ave. The closest stops to Lurie Center are 4 Maguire Rd (KSQ – across the street from the Lurie Center parking lot) and 44 Hartwell Ave. It runs approximately every 90 minutes. Use the rider app (Tripshot) to pay for your fare and track the bus.
