Mass General for Children Community Hospitalists

Mass General for Children (MGfC) physicians provide coverage of the newborn nursery and support the obstetric service at Exeter Hospital, and offer 24 hour, in-hospital coverage for Exeter Hospital’s inpatient pediatric unit as well as pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.

MGfC physicians and advanced practice providers provide 24 hour, in-hospital coverage for Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit, nursery, inpatient pediatric floor, and for infants, children, and adolescents seen in the emergency department. In addition, MGfC pediatric subspecialty physicians provide on-site outpatient services at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (WDH) and are available for inpatient consultation for pediatric endocrinology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric neurology, pediatric orthopedics, and pediatric surgery. In support of these services, WDH offers pediatric nutrition, pediatric pharmacists, pediatric occupational therapy, and child life specialists.
