LGBT Employee Resource Group Board Members
The Massachusetts General Hospital LGBT Employee Resource Group seeks to create a welcoming and affirming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees, patients, families and friends.
Chad Gobert, Chairperson
Chad is the Training Development and Communications Specialist for Health Information Services at Mass General. As an educator, Chad’s focus is to take various kinds of face-to-face and e-learning content and bring it to audiences in an accessible, interactive, and informative format. Chad also serves the ERG in a learning leadership capacity.
Additional volunteering efforts include advocating for the inclusion of people with disabilities in community life, HIV testing and outreach, and serving as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Outside of work, Chad enjoys singing and distance running.
Reiner See, Past Co-Chair
Reiner is a neurologist at Mass General and devotes his clinical time in the Mass General Intraoperative Neurophysiology Monitoring Unit. Reiner joined the LGBT Resource Group when he joined MGH as an IOM fellow and serves as Past Co-Chair. He looks forward to promoting a welcoming and inclusive working atmosphere here at Mass General for its staff and trainees.
Reiner is an active member of PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), an organization devoted to promoting the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons and their families through support, education, and advocacy. He has spoken on behalf of PFLAG at several university orientation programs.
