Transgender Action Group (TAG)
Transgender Action Group (TAG) is an Mass General-wide group, made up of any Mass General staff who are interested in and/or whose work directly relates to gender-affirming care and support for transgender and non-binary people in the Mass General community. TAG is made up of a leadership committee that meets monthly to discuss and drive action items that can be generated internally and/or can be a way to link into hospital-wide initiatives. We also meet quarterly as a larger group to update the community. There are a number of clinical and administrative groups with dedicated staff who are working to support health and wellness for gender diverse individuals and communities across Mass General. These include the Transgender Health Program (Medicine), Gender Identity Program (Psychiatry), the Office of Equity and Inclusion, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Clinical Consensus Group (SOGI) and many other individual staff and pop-up initiatives. If you are interested in joining please email TransActionGroup@mgh.harvard.edu for more information.
