Nathaniel Langer, MD, MSc, is a board-certified adult cardiac surgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital, an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, and a member of the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center. His practice focuses on transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and minimally invasive treatment of heart valve disease, as well pulmonary thromboendarterectomy and coronary artery bypass grafting.Dr. Langer received his medical degree (MD) from Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and his Master of Science (MSc) degree from Paris-Sud University in Paris, France. He completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in cardiothoracic surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Langer's research interests include clinical outcomes in adult cardiac surgery, as well as right ventricular metabolism and right ventricular failure in patients with pulmonary hypertension.
