The Graduate Student Division was created to provide professional development seminars, support and consultation services for graduate students working at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Supporting Graduate Students

The Executive Committee on Research approved the creation of the Graduate Student Division (GSD) in the spring of 2012 based on a recommendation from the Scientific Advisory Council.

The GSD was created to foster a graduate student community and to serve the practical needs of graduate students associated with basic and clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Areas of emphasis for this office include:

  • Providing educational seminars, services and resources for graduate students
  • Enhancing the overall student experience
  • Attracting more graduate students to Mass General
  • Establishing relationships with graduate schools
