Cynthia Richard is the Director of Business and Finance for the Department of Pharmacy, providing leadership and governance over pharmacy budgeting, financial auditing, revenue integrity, drug & other vendor contracting, analytics, and oversight of the pharmacy drug supply chain operations. Areas of focus include promoting transparency, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the pharmacy revenue cycle and expense management.

Cynthia Richard brings over 23 years of health care finance and revenue cycle experience to this position, serving in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Budget Office and then as a Director of Finance & Revenue Cycle for the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital over the last 15 years. Her most recent role was as a Physician Billing Director for the Shared Service Center at Boston Children’s Hospital.
