Laura is a board-certified nurse practitioner who sees patients in the Shoulder Service. She received her undergraduate degree in health sciences at Merrimack College, as well as a nursing degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Laura worked as a registered nurse on the inpatient orthopedic floor at MGH for seven years prior to obtaining a family nurse practitioner degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Laura started her NP career working as an inpatient responding clinician, caring for patients admitted to the hospital with diverse orthopedic conditions.
