Kelly McInnis, DO, a sports medicine physiatrist and co-director of the Mass General Brigham Women’s Sports Medicine Program, recently was awarded the David Moyer Award from the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association (EATA). The award is presented annually by the EATA to a deserving team physician who has served the athletic training profession as an educator and advocate, as well as serving the community in which that physician lives and works.

The Moyer Award is the EATA's highest honor for a team physician, and is awarded in appreciation for all Dr. McInnis has done to benefit the teams, trainers and athletes with whom she collaborates.
