The Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program (HCORP) has existed for more than 100 years, and we are proud of the rich tradition of educating outstanding clinicians and leaders. The program’s greatest strength is its residents. Drawn from medical schools across the country and world, HCORP is a community of eager and talented young surgeons who make the most of our numerous world-renowned faculty, our four major teaching hospitals, and our close affiliation with Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard College, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Four Harvard-affiliated teaching hospitals participate in HCORP - Boston Children’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. These Hospitals and their staff form one of the largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic teaching faculties and clinically diverse patient populations in the country.
