The Midwifery Service is a vital part of the Obstetrics Program at Mass General.
Nurse-midwives at Mass General provide family planning and contraception services, and prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum care for those patients who are considered to have low- or moderate-risk pregnancies. To make an appointment with the Midwifery Service, contact the Obstetrics Program and request an appointment with a midwife.

Natalia Richey, CNM, MSN, is lead nurse-midwife of the Midwifery Division in the Department of OB/GYN at Mass General and a teaching associate at Harvard Medical School. She is interested in care underserved communities and caring for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She sees patient at Chelsea HealthCare Center and the Yawkey OB Program and is fluent in Spanish. She is also a Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Natalia completed her midwifery education at Columbia University and holds a BA from Bowdoin College.
