Barbara A. Wuerthner, NP, is a nurse practitioner in the Fertility Center at Massachusetts General Hospital where she sees patients for the evaluation and treatment of infertility. Barbara is part of the team that coordinates donor egg and gestational carrier use to help build families. She also works with gynecologic oncology patients for fertility preservation prior to chemotherapy or risk-reducing surgery.
Barbara completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. She completed her family nurse practitioner training and master of science degree at Regis College in Weston, MA.
