Dr. Reddy is a pulmonologist and an investigator in the Medical Practice Evaluation Center and the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He applies mathematical modeling methods to study clinical and policy questions at the intersection of tobacco use and cessation, HIV, and tuberculosis. He has published original research articles describing the huge impact of tobacco smoking and cessation in people living with HIV. He is developing a simulation model to reflect tobacco-related behaviors, clinical outcomes, and costs, with a goal of examining the cost-effectiveness of tobacco treatment interventions.
Dr. Reddy earned an MD from Harvard Medical School prior to completing training in internal medicine and pulmonary and critical care medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Spain and an NIH Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholar in Peru. His current research is supported by a K01 career development award from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
