Sudha came to nursing as a second career, initially earning a PhD in immunology and conducting post-doctoral work in liver transplant immunobiology. While this work was valuable, it was not entirely fulfilling. What was missing was interaction with people and patients who need help in real time. She completed the direct entry MSN program at MGH Institute of Health Professions and completed the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship in 2016.

Sudha is currently the APRN Fellowship Director for the MGH site of the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship.
