About Ayman Al Jurdi, MD
Dr. Ayman Al Jurdi is a kidney transplant and glomerular disease specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital, an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and an investigator at the MGH Center of Transplantation Sciences. He completed his internal medicine residency training at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine, where he served as the Chief Medical Resident. He completed his nephrology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he pursued advanced training in glomerular disease and Onconephrology. He completed an advanced fellowship in transplant nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Al Jurdi’s clinical and research interests include 1) the treatment of autoimmune kidney disease, kidney transplant rejection, and post-transplant glomerular disease recurrence, and 2) the prevention of complications of immunosuppression and optimizing vaccine responses in individuals with autoimmune diseases and solid organ transplants. He cares for individuals with autoimmune and glomerular diseases at the MGH Vasculitis and Glomerulonephritis Center and for individuals with organ transplants at the MGH Transplant Center.
