Meeting of the Radiation Safety Standards Committee (RASSC) at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

The 42nd Meeting of the Radiation Safety Standards Committee (RASSC) held a session on Trends and Challenges in Occupational Radiation Protection during which Dr. Rehani was invited to present on the current situation and challenges of assessing doses to the lens of the eye. The RASSC reviews issues pertaining to the setting of radiation safety standards and approved documents to be produced on behalf of IAEA and jointly with other international organizations. Additionally, as chair of the program committee for the upcoming International Conference on Radiation Protection in Medicine, December 11-15, 2017, Dr. Rehani reviewed the progress of the conference and finalized the tentative program during the visit.
