Meeting of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP)

The meeting of Committee 3 on Protection in Medicine of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) was held in Beijing in November 2018. Dr. Rehani is member and secretary of the ICRP Committee 3. ICRP meets every year in different country.

ICRP makes recommendations that are recognized by most countries of the world. Dr. Rehani had served as chair of the Task Groups of ICRP that resulted in four Annals of ICRP Publication (87, 102, 117 and 129). He was principal author of these publications as well as author of ICRP Publications 113, 120, 121 and 135. He is currently involved in a working group to develop recommendations on radiologic protection of individual patients that takes into account cumulative radiation doses.
