The 76^th Annual Annual Meeting of the Japan Radiological Society, the 73^rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT) and the 113^th Scientific Meeting of the Japan Society of Medical Physics (JSMP) were held at Yokohama on April 13-16, 2017. The combined meeting is held annually at Pacifico, Yokohama and this year attracted over 12,500 participants. Dr. Madan Rehani gave an invited presentation entitled "Progress in Radiation Protection of Children in a Large Part of the World and Issues for the Future." Also taking advantage of Dr. Rehani's presence in Japan, a meeting on "Radiation Exposure of the Ocular Lens in Medicine: Health Effects, Dose and Protection" was held in Landmark Tower, Yokohama, where Dr. Rehani gave a presentation entitled "Experience with studies of eye lens opacities among medical workers in interventional suites and work of international organizations."
