A workshop on Effective Management in Imaging was organized by the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences and the Dubai Health Authority, Government of Dubai. Dr. James A. Brink and Dr. Madan Rehani were the main speakers. Chairs of radiology departments in UAE and senior radiology professionals participated.

A workshop on Making Patients and Staff Safer in Radiological Imaging was organized by the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences and the Dubai Health Authority, Government of Dubai. Dr. Madan Rehani was one of the main speakers and co-organizer of the event, which attracted over 40 participants. A similar activity organized in December 2015 resulted in a call for a repeat of the event. Dubai colleagues have also asked for another event to be organized in 2018.
