International Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) organized an International Conference on Radiation Protection in Medicine: Achieving Change in Practice at its headquarters at Vienna from December 11 to 15, 2017.The conference was co-sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO). There were 534 participants from 97 countries. Dr. Rehani served as the chair of the conference’s Program Committee. He gave the keynote lecture on Radiation Protection in Medicine: Achievements and Outlook on the first day of the conference and presented conference conclusions on the last day. There were 57 invited presentations and approximately 200 posters.
