The Division of Abdominal Imaging
The Division of Abdominal Imaging offers a full range of diagnostic services for patients with disorders in the abdomen and pelvis.
We are dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a personalized environment that combines compassion with proven research advances. One of our top priorities is ease of access. We pride ourselves on responsiveness to patient inquiries and physician contacts.
The division's areas of expertise include abdominal and pelvic CT scanning (we have an active CT colonography program), abdominal MRI and advanced ultrasound techniques. Equipment includes MRI, CT, digital fluoroscopy, PET and numerous ultrasound units.
Division Radiologists
Division radiologists are recognized authorities in diagnostic imaging of the abdomen and pelvis and are able to provide expert interpretation on a broad range of diagnostic imaging tests.
Division radiologists are published extensively in the radiological literature and speak at many scientific meetings. A particular strength is the division's close working relationship with other specialists, such as endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeons, medical oncologists, hepatologists, urologists, gynecologic oncologists and gynecologic surgeons. These relationships bring a coordinated, coherent and multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation and treatment of patients.
