About Josephine Li, MD

Dr. Li is an endocrinologist in the Diabetes Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and her endocrinology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Li specializes in treating endocrine disorders with a focus on diabetes. She conducts research on how treatment response to medications for type 2 diabetes differs by genetics, with the goal of improving care for patients and advancing precision medicine.
