About Ashley Parker, MD
Ashley Parker, MD, is an obstetrician/gynecologist who practices at both the Waltham office and the main Massachusetts General Hospital campus in Boston. She trained at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and worked in the Philadelphia area for 4 years prior to joining Mass General.
Dr. Parker views her role as not only a clinician, but also an educator and advocate for her patients. She strongly believes that interacting with patients in a respectful and attentive manner facilitates complete and quality patient care, and builds trust between the patient and provider.
She’s passionate about promoting health equity and ensuring that underserved communities have access to adequate care. Dr. Parker finds that her role as a clinician has allowed her to bridge gaps with patients who have otherwise experienced trauma within the healthcare system. Creating an environment of trust and understanding can change outcomes. She notes that building strong relationships with her patients has been one of the most rewarding experiences as a physician.
In her personal time, she enjoys the culinary arts, fitness, and the performing arts.

Mass General is recognized as a top hospital on the U.S. News Best Hospitals Honor Roll for 2024-2025.
My experience with Dr. Parker was a positive experience. I changed from a previous provider in the practice who was not personable, Dr. [redacted], and did not treat me with respect or tried to put things on me where I didn't feel this way with Dr. Parker, who was a lot more attentive and listened to my concerns and again, didn't try to push ... Great, efficient and effective
She took her time and explained things carefully.
Dr. Ashley Parker is the best. She's on top of her game and knows her field like no others that I have ever experienced. She far exceeds a 10. I rate her 150!
Dr. Ashley Parker was great. She was thorough. She took her time with me. She listened and she gave great follow up and next step instructions.
Very helpful
I like Dr Parker
Dr. Parker is fantastic. No notes. Please ensure that you keep her because I'd follow her wherever she went.
responsive, crisp , though the possible diagnosis of vulvar cancer naturally very upsetting me but Dr. Parker was forthright, kind but did not try to placate my fears
Very understanding and kind. She was very patient during the procedure and gave me "warning shots" when a painful part was coming. I would recommend her to another patient
