About Runhua Hou, MD
Dr. Hou completed her residency at Yale New Haven-Saint Raphael Hospital and fellowship training at Washington University-Barnes Jewish Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Previously, she served as a faculty member at the University of Rochester, the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has been practicing endocrinology since 2008 and is particularly interested in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. Her office procedures include ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy of thyroid nodules, as well as radioactive iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer.

Dr. Hou was better than I could have expected. She is knowledgeable. She has a great interaction with her patients. She went far above what she had to do and she even found other issues that she referred me to other doctors for.
