About Mohamed Jarraya, MD
Dr. Mohamed Jarraya is Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Mass. General Hospital, Dr. Jarraya completed two diagnostic radiology residencies. He also completed fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jarraya published over 60 peer-reviewed PubMed-listed articles with focus on imaging of osteoarthritis and sports imaging. He presented multiple abstracts and exhibits in National and International conferences including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), Osteoarthritis International Society (OARSI), the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) and the International Workshop of Osteoarthritis Imaging (IWOAI).
Dr. Jarraya has been involved in CT and MRI reading of multiple epidemiological cohorts and clinical trials in the field of knee osteoarthritis. He co-developed a scoring system for the evaluation of intra-articular mineralization, the Boston University Calcium Knee Score (BUCKS).
