About Lidia Maria Moura, MD, MPH, PhD

Dr. Moura is Director of Population Health at the Neurology Department of the Mass General Hospital. She is a neurologist with subspecialty in advanced general neurology (dementia, stroke, brain injuries), clinical epilepsy, and neurophysiology. She is also an epidemiologist and health services researcher at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Morgan Institute. She is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the Harvard Medical School. She holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) with concentration in Clinical Effectiveness, and a PhD in Population Health Sciences from the HSPH and the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She co-directs The MGH Center for Value-based Care and Sciences. She Chairs the Quality Informatics Subcommittee of the American Academy of Neurology.
