My professional time is devoted primarily to direct care of patients with chronic pain. My areas of interest include chronic spine pain, neuropathic pain, myofascial pain and rehabilitation approaches to treatment of chronic pain.
I am also involved in the direct education of pain medicine fellows where I emphasize musculoskeletal evaluation and rehabilitation approaches in management of patients with chronic pain.

He was very knowledgeable of my ailment and for possible treatments. He very very courteous. He included all 3 of us during our discussions. He described several physical and medical recommendations to help me with my pain issues.

Dr Polykoff's manner invited me to share in his efforts to diagnose and treat the pain I was experiencing down my leg. He told me he would have more information for me in a few days and that his staff would call me to set up another appointment for 3 weeks after my first visit. Dr. Polykoff exceeded my expectations!
