Research

Dr. Grinspoon is a clinical researcher who studies the development of novel metabolic and neuroendocrine strategies to reduce cardiovascular and metabolic risk associated with excess visceral fat, with a focus on the use of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) to increase endogenous pulsatile GH, and selectively reduce visceral fat. His research interests include metabolic consequences of visceral fat accumulation in lipodystrophy and obesity.
