About Patty Gibbons, MD

Dr. Gibbons is a dedicated and experienced adult primary care physician with more than thirty years of experience at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Gibbons received her medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She joined the Massachusetts General Medical Group in 1994. Committed to helping educate the next generation of practitioners, she has supervised and taught residents since joining MGH. Dr. Gibbons served as team internist for Major League Soccer team, the New England Revolution, for 14 years. In addition to her extensive experience in adult primary care, Dr. Gibbons has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of concussion within the primary care setting. She is a native of Wyoming and was raised in Colorado. When not in the clinic she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and getting outside.
