About Brittany Lagarce, MSN, FNP-BC

Brittany Lagarce is a Family Nurse Practitioner. Brittany's clinical expertise is centered on providing patient-centered care in both the Mass General Weight Center and the General Surgery Clinic. Her role primarily involves working with patients before and after surgery, ensuring they are fully informed and supported throughout their surgical experience. Before transitioning into her current role, she spent six years working on the inpatient trauma and surgery floor at Mass General, where she developed a strong foundation in acute patient care. After becoming a nurse practitioner, Brittany moved into the outpatient setting, where she worked for six years in the Surgical Oncology Clinic. There, she gained invaluable experience in managing patients before and after cancer surgery, further developing her expertise in pre- and post-operative care. This experience ultimately led her to the Mass General Weight Center and General Surgery Clinic, where she now focuses on helping patients with metabolic and bariatric surgery. Brittany earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Simmons College.
