About Weizhen Tan, MD
I grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. I then completed my pediatrics residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT before moving back to Boston to complete my pediatric nephrology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. I am thrilled to stay in Boston as faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and look forward to spending my time taking care of a variety of patients as a clinical nephrologist at MGH.

Dr. Tan was absolutely amazing throughout my daughter's whole care. We were even able to contact him while we were away in Puerto Rico when my daughter got sick and got an appointment booked right away as soon as we come back. You know, she is completely healed now, but if anything was to happen again, I would definitely go right back to him.
