About Kelly Dakin, PhD
Kelly joined the Lurie Center in the spring of 2022 as the Associate Scientific Director to support the Lurie Center’s research and educational missions. In her current role, Kelly works across the clinical and preclinical research teams to leverage complementary efforts and help guide the Lurie Center’s research strategy at the programmatic level. She is Director of the Autism Research Core at the Lurie Center, manages the Lurie Center’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program, and is the editor of the LurieNOW bimonthly newsletter. Kelly attended Bowdoin College and earned her Ph.D. in neurobiology from Harvard University.
