Research

My research focuses on increasing understanding of how surgical care impacts the lives of cancer patients. I am interested in methods that allow researchers to draw meaningful insights from observational data. My work explores how focusing on temporal and spatial variation in practice can help to uncover how cancer treatments affect patient outcomes.
