Allison Gockley, MD is an attending Gynecologic Oncologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Gockley evaluates and treats patients with gynecologic cancers providing full spectrum care including surgical, chemotherapy and immunotherapy approaches. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Dr. Gockley provides care at Mass General in Boston and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Dr. Gockley was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Washington and Lee University. Dr. Gockley received her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital integrated program. She then completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She was on faculty at Columbia University prior to joining the faculty at Mass General. Dr. Gockley is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gockley is a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and a recipient of the Gynecologic Oncology Group Young Investigator Award. Within the NRG/Gynecologic Oncology Group she serves on the surgical oncology, cervix/vulva and uterine corpus subcommittees.
Dr. Gockley’s research interests include the surgical treatment of gynecologic cancers, gestational trophoblastic neoplasia, advanced endometrial cancer and onco-fertility. She has 2 children, 1 French bulldog and enjoys running, eating pasta and spending time with her friends and family.
