In this session, we will discuss the role of palliative care and hospice in supporting patients with serious illness and their families. Specifically, we will review the many ways that palliative care can support patients of any age and at any stage of illness. We will also discuss the role of hospice care in supporting patients and their families at the end of life and what types of services are included with this care.
