Upcoming Events: Seminar Series

The McCance Center for Brain Health Seminar Series meets every other week on Mondays from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Eastern Time and brings upwards of 60 faculty members and their labs together to present on and discuss the development of brain health indicators and interventions, as well as efforts to integrate brain health assessments into primary care. This vibrant community of clinicians and scientists from across Mass General and its partner institutions is embracing radically new approaches to preventing brain disease and promoting brain health across the lifespan. The series often welcomes external speakers who are also conducting transformational work in this field.

  Dr. Deepak Kumar Vijay Kumar is an Instructor of Neurology at the Genetics and Aging Research Unit, and affiliated faculty member of the McCance Center for Brain Health, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

  Dr. William Eimer is the Instructor of Neurology at the Genetics and Aging Research Unit, and affiliated faculty member of the McCance Center for Brain Health, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
• 4/28/2025: Edward Calabrese, PhD
  Dr. Edward J. Calabrese is a Professor of Toxicology at the University of Massachusetts, School of Public Health and Health Sciences, Amherst.
• 5/12/2025: Chih-Chung “Jerry” Lin, PhD
  Dr. Jerry Lin is the Instructor of Neurology at the Genetics and Aging Research Unit, and affiliated faculty member of the McCance Center for Brain Health, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
• 6/23/2025: Mehdi Jorfi, PhD
  Dr. Medhi Jorfi is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Genetics and Aging Research Unit, and affiliated faculty member of the McCance Center for Brain Health, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
• 7/7/2025: Giulia Menichetti, PhD
  Dr. Menichetti is a Principal Investigator and Junior Faculty at Harvard Medical School (Brigham and Women’s Hospital) and an affiliated faculty member at the Network Science Institute (Northeastern University).
