At Bulfinch Medical Group (BMG), we have enhanced the way in which our medical team is organized in order to provide quality care for our patients. Our medical team is comprised of a coordinated and familiar group of health care professionals that strive to make every visit as focused and personalized to your needs as possible. These teams are made up of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants and administrative staff who work together to provide care that is evidence-based and includes self-management tools and education through the medical home model of care.

Our care teams also coordinate our patients' care with medical, surgical and behavioral health specialists, both inside and outside the Mass General Brigham HealthCare system. We encourage all of our patients to meet and know their entire care team and to ask for guidance in their care, ensuring that patients are able to take educated roles in their treatment. This approach, combined with new technology and access to appropriate specialized care, allows BMG to tailor our care and improve our patients’ care experiences.

Educating the Next Generation of Health Care Leaders

As part of Mass General, the largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, we are proud to participate in educating the next generation of health care professionals and have several Mass General Internal Medicine residents at our practice. These physicians received their medical degrees from top-ranked medical schools and are supervised by our attending physicians. Patients who see a resident as their primary care provider will find the attending physician’s name on their insurance card.
