About Connor Hanson, PharmD, MS
Connor Hanson is the Interim Director of Pharmacy Operations and the Manager of Distribution Services at Massachusetts General Hospital. As Interim Director, Connor oversees inpatient and perioperative pharmacy operations, collaborating toward the effective provision of medications to patients. As the Manager of Pharmacy Distribution Services (started August 2021), he ensures efficient distribution of medications to inpatient and clinic areas.
Connor is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, having earned his PharmD in 2019 and MS in Health-Systems Pharmacy Administration in 2021. Prior to his time at Massachusetts General, he practiced as a clinical pharmacist at UW Health while working on his two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency, which he completed in 2021.
Professionally, Connor currently sits on the ASHP SPPL Advisory Group on Frontline Leaders, and previously has served as a resident member of the ASHP SPPL Multi-Hospital Pharmacy Executive Committee and as resident subcommittee co-chair for the Vizient Programming, Innovation, and Engagement Committee (PIE). His passions include pharmacy automation, inventory optimization, and practice advancement (technicians and pharmacists).
