The Midwifery Service is a vital part of the Obstetrics Program at Mass General.
Nurse-midwives at Mass General provide family planning and contraception services, and prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum care for those patients who are considered to have low- or moderate-risk pregnancies. To make an appointment with the Midwifery Service, contact the Obstetrics Program and request an appointment with a midwife.

Dana Cvrk, CNM, MS, is a staff nurse-midwife in the Midwifery Division in the Department of OB/GYN at Mass General and is a teaching associate with Harvard Medical School. She has clinical interest in caring for underserved communities and increasing access to doula services. She has a special interest in the role of aromatherapy in pregnancy. She sees patients on Labor and Delivery and our inpatient units and is fluent in Czech. Dana completed her midwifery education at Baylor University of Medicine.
