    Overview

    Central to the Mass General Department of Neurology’s clinical care mission is the Division of Comprehensive Neurology. Privileged to care for almost 15,000 new patients per year, our highly skilled division members play a vital role in assuring general neurology access for our patients referred from both within Mass General and the larger community we serve.

    Most patients seeking their first evaluation or treatment by an academic Neurologist can be seen by our Comprehensive Neurology providers. As clinician-educators, our division members are also dedicated to educating the next generation of Neurologists, with residents having exposure to the full breadth and scope of neurologic disease and treatment while enhancing patient access.

    The Division of Comprehensive Neurology is also the natural home for innovation and investigation into population health and health policy/systems research.
