Janet has many years of Nurse Practitioner experience caring for patients in long-term care and rehab, inpatient and emergency room settings as well as home care. Within all of these settings, she came to recognize the need for high-quality palliative care services. Along with her clinical practice, she has taught Nurse Practitioner students and served in academic leadership positions. She holds certifications as a Family and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Her interests include care of individuals living with complex medical needs in the community, intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism advocacy, caregiver support and healthcare workforce issues. She loves to bike ride, travel, spend time with family and friends, read, learn new things and meet new people.
